Reflecting on my own transition from a flight attendant to a trauma therapist, I realize how crucial it is to recognize when we’ve outgrown our current space. Much like a plant that outgrows its pot, our growth can be limited if we don’t replant ourselves in a larger container. When the roots feel constricted, and growth stalls, it signals that it’s time to transplant— to seek new opportunities and create more space to grow.
The lobster analogy beautifully captures this process: Lobsters are soft and mushy inside their rigid shells. When their shells become too tight, they retreat under a rock and grow a new shell—more spacious, more aligned with their current needs. Like lobsters, we need space to grow. When our containers become too small, the universe gently nudges us to shed the old shell and step into new possibilities.
I invite you to trust in your heart’s visions and the signs that lead you, even when it feels scary. Sometimes, the bravest act is casting off your shell, embracing the uncertainty, and allowing yourself to grow beyond limits you once believed real. Life often turns out better than we expect—when we trust that the universe has our back.
Remember: in these times of transition and darkness, be the light, trust in your inner guidance, and create space for your own growth. The universe is always supporting us—if we’re brave enough to follow the signs.

Much love and blessings, Chantal Watier
